North Pocono Cal Ripken Baseball is a local organization that has provided an opportunity for North Pocono area youth ages 4 through 12 to experience a fun and positive baseball experience since 2008. NPCRB is affiliated with Babe Ruth baseball, an international organization that serves over 1 million players in more than 6 countries and all 50 states.
In 2015, the NPCRB Board of Directors established an annual scholarship in the amount of $500. The $500 will be shared equally between two recipients each year.
Applicants must be a North Pocono senior who participated in the NPCRB program and has been accepted into an accredited institution of higher education or an accredited vocational training program. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate participation in school sanctioned extra-curricular activities and/or community service.
Download the scholarship application which can be found at www.npcrb.com. It can also be obtained in the NPHS guidance office. Complete it and turn it in to the NPHS guidance office by April 1st.

Criteria for Awarding Scholarship:
Both of the $250 scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, community service and the length and quality of time spent in the NP Cal Ripken program.
NPCRB does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, national or ethnic origin in the administration of the scholarship program.
